After working for a national US charity, Chris founded and runs Ally Youth Services in his home state of Colorado. It provides a safe, long-term, and supportive community from which homeless and at-risk youth can develop into healthy, self-sufficient young adults. As well as outreach services to young people who are homeless, in foster care or in custody, it also operates a drop-in centre which offers basic supplies, family-style support, mentoring and advocacy which helps young people access other services such housing and colleges. Ally Youth Services is among the first initiatives selected to receive funding and support from the One Young World Social Business Accelerator.
