Eggs for Hope is a social business developed by OYW Haitian ambassador James Alcime. James’ project recognises the need to address poverty through employment, as well as the issue of hunger and how malnutrition can affect education.
Eggs for Hope aims to train and employ young Haitians in caring for chickens and sell on the eggs, incubate them to increase chicken stocks, and provide wholesome and healthy meals for schoolchildren to help them make the most of their educational opportunities.
