OYWT&T was set up by OYW Ambassador Chenelle Spooner to help promulgate and further the OYW resolutions within Trinidad & Tobago, and to act as a platform from which national youth action could spring. Through collaboration of energy and ideas they aim to help tackle some of the great issues of our time such as poverty, the environment, education, health and the media.
Above all, OYWT&T is a medium through which young global leaders can launch projects and share practical ideas to foster sustainable development in Trinidad and Tobago. Already, they've been active in galvanising Trinidadian and Tobagian youth, including in the organisation and broadcast of the Global Poverty Project's 1.4 Billion Reasons interactive DVD presentation on Global Dignity Day.
