Soroptimist International Phnom Penh is a worldwide organization for women in management and professions, working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. SIPP is working to Transform women and girls and building their dream. To raise awareness of Breast Cancer in Cambodia.
SIPP current project is focused on Breast Cancer in Cambodia by organizing workshop, training and seminar in the whole of Capital City of Cambodia and widely spread out to other provinces. SIPP started doing this project since July 4, 2010 and would be extended two years more to help Cambodia’s Women and Girls who are having this cancer. It is a long project of SIPP to raise awareness to let them know how to protect with the Breast Cancer.
With these trainings, they hope that the women, girls and men of Cambodia will become more aware of and sensitive to Breast Cancer issue and will enable them to effectively inspire others in society to act.
The aims of Soroptimist International Phnom Penh are:
1. To Gain knowledge of Breast Cancer and key actions notes to engage girls and women with the problem of Breast Cancer guided by Soroptimist International Phnom Penh.
2. To intend to bring passion to women to inform and concern themselves about Breast Cancer.
3. To raise awareness of Breast Cancer to women and girls and also men through Cambodia
4. To encourage women to fight Breast cancer by Think Hope, Think Pink
