"Imagine millions of people, all over the world, uniting under one goal, one idea, one statement. On February 21st, 2012 (21.2.12 and the first day of spring), millions of people across the world will engage in physical and digital actions with the aim of sending one message to their leaders: "This is a Wake Up Call".

Each country and each region is affected by different issues. Wake Up Call is relevant to every person in every country because each country will have its own Wake Up Call, which, according to its own people, represents the most important issue in their country. There is also a range of Wake Up Call actions – Show Up, Call Up, Type Up - so that the kind of collaborative action that is thought to be most effective and most safe for each country can be selected. However, since all the actions will occur on one monumental day of action (21.2.12), each country's Wake Up Call will benefit from the support of every other country's.

We are writing to you because we are in search of country coordinators for Wake Up Call. Each country needs a coordinator and we need leaders like you to represent your country and lead its Wake Up Call up until the day of action on 21.2.12. A Wake Up Call country coordinator will serve as the point of contact for all Wake Up Call actions within that country, and will report to the core team and the co-founder that is responsible for your geographical region."
