Chairman of CNBC Africa, Chairman of CNBC Arabia & President of CNBC Pakistan

Zafar Siddiqi was with KPMG for 18 years initially as a partner and later as the Managing Director of one of its consultancy practices.

 

Having extensive experience in the Middle East and South Asia, he left the profession in 1996 and established a television production company. Siddiqi was the founder shareholder for the CNBC networks in Arabia, Africa and Pakistan. He also established Samaa TV in Pakistan, which is a 24-hour news and current affairs channel.

 

Zafar Siddiqi is currently Chairman of CNBC Africa, Chairman of CNBC Arabia, President of CNBC Pakistan, Chairman of SAMAA TV and Chairman of Murdoch University International Study Centre in Dubai.

 

He is a director on the board of the Academy of Science and Arts of New York and has attended the KPMG partner development program at Stanford University.
