Candidates and Delegates
If you know an outstanding young leader (born during or after 1985) then the Founders would like to hear from you. There is a straightforward online application to be completed. Candidates for Delegates places should complete that form as soon as possible. There are 1500 Delegate places - and, as One young World 2010 drew over 800 Delegates, there will be competition for places in 2011. In their application Candidates should indicate their positions as regards being able to raise financial support for their place.

Ways to Support or Sponsor as a Company or Individual
Each delegate is likely to need financial support of around €3,000 to cover their flights, their accommodation, transport in the Host City, sustenance and the Summit itself. In 2010 this support came from a number of sources: businesses supported their own employees. Some Delegates were supported by their governments, academic institutions or via NGO's and Foundations. Over 200 businesses and Foundations supported Delegates to One Young World 2010 directly; others provided value-in-kind in the shape of donations of equipment and services.
