Global youth are on the vanguard of a worldwide change, and their views, revealed by the newly released One Young World Global Youth Study—one of the biggest studies of global youth opinion ever undertaken—confirms this to a surprising degree. The One Young World Global Youth Study surveyed more than 15,000 people between the ages of 23 and 28 from all the world's regions (Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Central America, South America and Australasia).
Candidates and delegates
Could you be a delegate? If you were born during or after 1986 and have qualities you think might make you a leader then you should be at One Young World 2012.
Delegates should have following skills, traits and beliefs:
- Teamwork
- Leadership potential and skills
- Concern about global issues
- Ability to generate and articulate impactful ideas
- A commitment to volunteering or other extracurricular activity (evidence required)
