Delegate Partners

The benefits of becoming a delegate PARTNER

Becoming a Delegate Partner positions your organisation as a force for good. Current Delegate Partners are among the world’s leading companies, NGOs, foundations and universities. No matter what kind of operation, they all have one thing in common: the inclusion of the next generation of leaders in their organisation's development and vision for the future.

The One Young World Summit is a truly ground-breaking event which offers decision makers and business leaders the most powerful insight into where our world may be heading, through the delegates they sponsor.

For your delegates

One Young World Ambassadors unanimously describe the experience as 'life-changing'.

They will:

Discover a new sense of their potential and purpose in the global community.

Get to meet, speak to and impress some of the most inspirational people in the world: the One Young World Counsellors.

For your organisation

Your best young talent on a world stage.

A new appreciation of your organisation.

A rallying cry within your business.

An energetic and committed force for change for the better from within.

Global media coverage

More than 100 international reporters were accredited, from countries and regions including Australia, Chile, China, India, South Africa, Jordan, US and Europe.

Who should attend One Young World?

You may choose your delegates from employees or colleagues, or other young leaders you may know. You can also select delegates to fund from the pool of Candidates whose applications have been approved by One Young World and who are seeking funding. Candidates are identified as having proven leadership potential and engaged in activities which show concern for wider communities and for improving the world in which they live.

If nominating your own delegates, ideally you should send people who are aged  between 18 and 25, though around 20% of delegates are over 25 but under 30. These ages are guidelines and are not rigid, and exist to help us ensure that One Young World is coherent in its mission to find and give the leaders of tomorrow a global platform.
