The Young Challengers Meeting will take place on November 3 - 4, 2015 in Berlin, two days prior to the Global Social Business Summit. The Meeting offers young people interested in social business the opportunity to receive an in-depth introduction and a hands-on training on how to develop their own social business ideas. The Social Business Ideation Lab is organized by the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie (SEA), a joint initiative of Munich’s four universities which is focusing on educating students in becoming social entrepreneurs.
For the young professionals who are already running their own social business or have a well-defined business idea, experts and social business practitioners will be offering guidance and advice on how to solve challenges faced by social business start-ups. Overall, the Young Challengers Meeting is a unique platform to learn about social business, meet peers, network and gain a valuable experience.
The Young Challengers are also attending the Global Social Business Summit and engaging with decision makers about the role of social business in their countries. They will challenge political leaders from around the world, network with CEOs from global corporations and meet Professor Muhammad Yunus personally to discuss their vision for the future.
