I am passionate about
I am passionate about empowering the girls and women of my community, to defend their equality in rights and opportunities.
I am passionate about supporting my career in economics and my knowledge in social projects can make changes in the socioeconomic and personal reality of women. I think that in order to change the world, it is important to start by changing our community, our environment, if we educate and provide girls and women with the necessary tools to value themselves, to love themselves and to know their own qualities can be happy women with their lives, They can start a business, be professionals who trust in their qualities and thus can be voices to defend their own rights.
Education in financial and entrepreneurship issues in vulnerable communities is key to changing their lives, to being able to achieve economic and social empowerment. This education should be accompanied by knowing themselves through workshops on self-esteem, contraceptive methods, training girls in which there can be a better quality of life and they can improve their future, influence their self-esteem and support them to their Indipendence
I am passionate about taking these entrepreneurship and self-esteem workshops to poor and vulnerable areas, because these people need to change their future.
I think every action with love and dedication changes the world and promotes better opportunities for our girls.
Hello! I am Adela Ubau, I am a young woman with much enthusiasm and desire to learn always from each experience, I am 26 years old, I am a woman who believes in the power of change and the ability to inspire other young people to do social projects in their community. I believed that young people can change the world, in which education is a fundamental tool to help women and girls who want to start and know themselves. I am a volunteer at the Women's Association Luisa Amanda Espinoza since 2013. I have worked on monitoring social project of adobe houses for single mothers of low economic resources who lived at risk.
My job is to evaluate the economic, social and environmental benefits of housing construction in the Pantanal neighborhood of the city of Granada, Nicaragua. The Pantanal is one of the poorest and most populated neighborhood .
I teach self-esteem and entrepreneurship workshops for women and girls in rural communities, with few economic resources but with a lot of desire to learn.
In the workshops I teach the value of themselves, love each other, know about their body and sex education. In addition, I teach them about doing their own business so that they have economic and social empowerment.
Nicaragua is one of the countries with the highest rate of teenage pregnancies and one of the poorest countries in Latin America.
In addition, I am working on an idea of taking these workshops to rural schools in other parts of my country and to a rural community in Costa Rica, where Nicaraguan women live who need support for their economic and personal empowerment, motivating them to believe in themselves.
I have the vision to create a digital platform and there to have the workshops, I am very excited to have the opportunity to be selected, I love my profession and I know that I can achieve influence in the growth and development of my country.
An idea can change the lives of many women, we can make changes if we believe in ourselves.
