In general: I'm a speaker for a US national non-profit called SOAR (Speaking Out About Rape). I've shared my personal survival story all over the world at trainings, for various media, women's groups, sororities, church groups, and for members of the Colorado State and U.S. Congress. I am committed to bringing healing to survivors and their families and friends by empowering them, and trying to get them the resources they need by pushing for and speaking for legislation to help them to recover.

Thus far this year (2016), I: *had the opportunity to meet Vice President Joe Biden, in support of the It's On Us campaign. *shared my story with Teen Vogue (http://www.teenvogue.com/story/rape-survivor-run-half-marathon) *was invited to and attended the White House's first ever United State of Women. (experience of a lifetime --- ask me about it!) Someday, I hope to get involved in politics. I'm not quite sure what that looks like yet, but I anticipate I'd start at a local level and try to have impact there before going to a bigger stage.
