I am passionate about
My biggest dream is to see the emancipation of a community of young leaders who can play a role as an agent of change in Haiti. I believe young people are the key to social change because they are energetic and less bounded by social identity. For that I co-founded and am engaged with Groupe ECHO Haiti, an organization focused on empowering young leaders in Haiti and increasing their involvement in the countries' development. I am also passionate about technology, social entrepreneurship and public policy. Im also very passionate about entrepreneurship. I believe that developing countries will strive from creating more wealth at all levels of society. Through my job at the Interamerican development bank we are financing a business incubator project in the northern part of Haiti. Having the chance to work of this project gave me a way to channel my passion towards real impact. I am passionate about channeling my network to create value. Through the results of ELAN im also engaged in youth empowerment in project implementation.
As co -founder and former president of Group ECHO Haiti (www.groupecho.org.ht), I have been constantly valorizing the potential of youth and my love for my country. I had the opportunity to represent Haiti and take action in various international forums for young leaders including UNESCO and Vanguardia Iberoamericana. I have led the creation and is currently the General Coordinator of the first International youth platform in Haiti, ELAN Haiti (www.elan.ht), bringing together, every year, 100 young leaders from all Haiti, its diaspora and around the world to discuss the countries future and take concrete actions (projects) to solve jointly identified issues. The next edition of ELAN Haiti will be in August 2016. I also co-founded HFund (www.hfundvc.com) a micro Venture Capital Fund in Haiti identifying and investing in SMEs to help inspiring entrepreneurs with promising businesses take their ventures to a higher level while creating jobs and wealth at the bottom of Haiti's pyramid...
