I am passionate about

I am mostly passionate about Women rights which includes equality in the work place, in the view of the society & overall sexual education with the awareness of victim shaming & domestic violence. I have participated in the first arab youth forum under the UNDP in jordan (13th-15th june 2015) under the women empowerment team where we have come up with a project to increase the political & leadership involvement of women in the MENA region. moreover, I have worked with the US embassy to deliver two different music camps for girls of 10-19 years old which includes hidden messages of confidence & self defence & rights given to the young girls. I have helped in the organisation of another conference in Bahrain under AIESEC where youth were invited to workshops and summits under the name of "women pioneers". I am really passionate about this topic because of the injustice women go through everyday of their life under so many different countries & laws in various degrees from mutilation & murder to shaming & unequal payment.

another topic that I am passionate about is the environment, it is a scientific fact that is ignored by many parties under false pretences & for the sake of money. while coming from an oil based economy (Bahrain) we are aware of the implications of the oil industry & the limited sustainability of oil based power & we have the financial power to convert to other more sustainable choices such as solar power that we have plenty of. so being able to see that the financial dependency changes from oil to tourism for the sake of money & not changing the main source of power for the sake of the environment & future generations is something that is very easy to change.

(2013 & 2014)
