I am passionate aboutComing from a quite a conservative culture, I managed to build my own
business at the age of 18 and took it from $200 to a chain of boutiques
without any outside investment.
I heard so many "it's impossible" kind of feedbacks through the whole
journey, and one of the main reasons that people around always mentioned, was
that I am a girl. I wanted to create a community and space to support
professional and personal development of women towards their dreams and
goals, so that they don't stay alone on this fight, as I had to.
This is my story and why I care so much about Gender Equality and Quality
Education, as I believe that specifically through quality education, the
gender equality gap can be closed.
ActionsI have founded WoWoman 3 years ago. WoWoman is a women empowerment platform,
which creates space and tools for women
to be able to achieve the coolest, craziest and the most "impossible" dreams
In 3 years we went from just myself to a team of 50 volunteers, over 200
events and trainings, 40 programs, 7000 participants and 20.000 community
members. We provide education on topics like IT, Entrepreneurship, Design on
one side and Health, Confidence and Inspiration on the other. Combining both
online and offline tools.
