The COOL2VOTE project aim is to inspire young Nigerians of voting age to register, vote and defend their right to vote in the 2011 elections. Born in the throes of electoral decadence, COOL2VOTE Nigeria has set out to use the power of new social media and technology to capture the hearts and minds of young people towards political consciousness. It is inspired by the belief that young people have power like never before to shape the direction of their nations by their participation in the electoral process as exemplified by the 2008 presidential campaign of Barack Obama. Tobi says ”I believe it is moral authority and the power of ideas, not money that should be voted for in elections.
