One Student, One Laptop

Context:

The designated decennie 2005-2014 Education for Sustainable Development United Nations talk, intended to enable the integration of values ​​inherent in sustainable development all aspects of learning and encourage behavioral changes in mentality and daliy work in Africa especially in underpriviledged young students life and to help to build  changes that will allow a development countries that plan and ajust their developmental project on sustainable Education to see  day.

The "ONE STUDENT, ONE LAPTOP" aims to provide free or at a very affordable price of hardware including a laptop for each student including the most needy and anxious to learn.

It is also intended to cover the lack of technology skills based on the inaccessibility of learning systems offered by a training system to become uniform and universal  Educational system called  (LMD) in all countries where ICT undoubtedly become one of the most sought throughout the world. However, this still seems very important tool in the eyes of young students Togo as to be acquired is to say a luxury.


The valuation of the project aid and solidarity for a laptop is not only important to strengthen the integration of ICT in education and development in Togo, to help develop ICT skills in young students, but also because they impact all sectors of education, health, economic, political society writ large.

Project VISION, MISSION AND OBJECTIVES


Vision:
Provide each student with Togo, a laptop for his studies in higher education.

Mission:

We mobilize ICT resources from donors, philanthropic individuals, institutions for technology transfer to support action and solidarity to the youth of higher education in TOGO

Objectives:

  • Our project aims to promote solidarity through donors or legacies of second-hand computers to young students in need and support the Togolese national curriculum in higher education in the context of active learning to put the students in their learning in action , to form a greater mastery of ICT, and to help them develop good computer and ICT skills .
  • Promote solidarity support access to "Laptops" for young learners of the University of Lome
  • Mobilize young people in developed countries to support this action and solidarity for a Laptop to a needy student in Togo
  • Equip and train students in effective use of ICT and development of ICT skills
  • Raise the standards of use to a more efficient use of ICT among students Togo
  • Equip students to meet the needs of universities and remain competitive with other educational systems worldwide
  • Help facilitate active learning among students in Togo, the BMD system and the research and the quest for information
  • Facilitate the monitoring of the reality of the digital society and meet the requirements of the labor market nationally and internationally
