Vitalis is a non-profit NGO set up in the year 2000 in Venezuela with the mission of promoting environmental conservation and sustainable development through education.
Since its conception, it has been awarded the following prizes:
• “ Environmental Organisation of 2007": Quick Press "Friends of the Environment" award
• Recognised by Enrique Tejera of the National Conservation Prize and the Friends of the Tree Society for "Extraordinary Conservation Work" - 2007.
• Nominated for the United Nations Society of Information prize, 2005.
• Named "Best Environmental Ogranisation of the Year 2002" by the Miranda Environmental Society.
• First place in the publication category for vitalis.net, Cerro El Avila Environmental Conservation Prize 2001.
