SunFarmer US is a New York based nonprofit focused on helping entrepreneurs in the Global South start successful solar energy businesses. Since joining the Nepal office in 2015, he grew the team from two to twelve and implemented over 150 solar energy systems for healthcare, education, and agriculture across 10 Nepalese districts. Changing the energy sources of two hospitals has impacted around 200,000 people. More importantly, the technology his team introduced has helped countless other organizations to reduce their emissions and save on energy costs.
