The CEMEX-TEC Award provides annual global recognition for the development of high impact proposals and projects in the areas of sustainable development, entrepreneurship, and social innovation.
Prizes can include between $10,000 - $25,000 USD seed capital and boot camp training.
Which projects are eligible?
The CEMEX-TEC Award has 4 global categories:
- Social Entrepreneurs - Aimed at entrepreneurs from around the world. Oriented to social entrepreneurship projects that have at least one year of implementation and generate a systemic change.
- Transforming Communities - Addressed to upper and postgraduate students of any country. Oriented to proposals for the sustainable transformation of a community.
- Community Entrepreneurship - Addressed to organizations, foundations, cooperatives or civil associations of any country. Oriented to productive community social transformation projects that have at least one year of implementation.
- Collaborative Action - Addressed to organizations that work through intersectoral alliances, involving at least 3 sectors of society. Oriented to projects with social impact implemented through intersectoral alliances, which have at least one year of implementation.
As of 2018, the CEMEX-TEC Award will receive projects from anywhere in the world.
