Applications are now open to represent the United Kingdom at the Youth 7 (Y7), Youth 20 (Y20) and Conference of Parties (COP) in 2022!
The Y7 and Y20 are the official youth engagement groups for the G7 and G20, which will be hosted in Germany and Indonesia respectively in 2022. We're also selecting a delegation of young people to represent us at the United Nations Framework for the Convention of Climate Change COP27 in Egypt next year.
We're looking for young people aged 18 - 30 who will:

Gather evidence about what young people in the U.K. care about and want world leaders to take action on

Develop ambitious, actionable and achievable policy recommendations for world leaders on behalf of young people in the U.K.

Attend a high-profile Summit with other global young leaders to announce their internationally agreed policy recommendations

Campaign for those recommendations to turn into a reality, working with Governments, business or community partners and taking responsibility for delivering one policy recommendation themselves!
This is an amazing opportunity to build your leadership skills; meet other young leaders from around the world; and make a difference. Previous delegations have met with world leaders, Ministers and decision makers, and accessed exclusive and exciting opportunities, events and speaking engagements.
We welcome applications from all young people, from all backgrounds, provided you are a U.K. citizen or have lived in the U.K. for 5 years by 31 December 2021.
