Belfast Legacy Ambassador

We are inviting members of our Community in Northern Ireland to apply to join our team as a volunteer responsible for creating a sustainable legacy of impact from our Summit in Belfast in 2023.

 

You will work closely with the One Young World team, the Host City team in Belfast, local One Young World Partners, and the Coordinating Ambassador team for Europe to drive impact in the region in 2024 and beyond.

 

Deadline: Monday 6 November

Announcement: Thursday 9 November

 

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Role:

  • Work with the Coordinating Ambassador for UK & Ireland to maintain engagement in the Community after the Summit in Belfast
  • Collaborate with the local partners to host regular Community Events in Northern Ireland in 2024
  • Create connections and collaborations between One Young World Ambassadors in Northern Ireland
  • Encourage action in the Community in Northern Ireland to create social impact initiatives dedicated to tackling pressing issues for young people in Belfast and Northern Ireland

Requirements:

  • The ability to commit meaningful time and effort to the role (approximately 4-6 hours per week) over a two-year period
  • New or existing member of the One Young World Community
  • Reside in Northern Ireland
  • An enjoyment of connecting with others and building relationships
  • A passion for the aims of One Young World and the activities of Ambassadors
  • Action-oriented individual wanting to drive impact
