Kate

 

Kate Robertson

Co-founder of One Young World

 


Kate is the co-founder of One Young World - the global forum for young leaders that identifies, promotes and connect the world's most impactful activists to create a better world, with more responsible and effective leadership.

The annual One Young World Summit convenes the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. Delegates from 190+ countries are counseled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, amongst many other global figures.

Kate was formerly the Global President and UK Group Chairman of Havas Worldwide. 

In 2012 she was named Advertising Woman of the Year by Women in Marketing and in 2014 was similarly honored by Advertising Week Europe. In 2014 she received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Lausanne along with Unilever's Paul Polman.

In 2017, Kate was awarded the Corporate Citizenship Award from British American Business.

Kate is also the co-author of How to Make a Difference: The Definitive Guide from the World's Most Effective Activists - a unique and practical guide to modern day activism which includes advice and experience from some of the world's leading campaigners.

Ganpat Anchaliya

Ganpat is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with over 25 years of work experience in the areas of Financial Accounting, Planning & Reporting, Controls & Compliance, Business Partnering and Controllership function. Currently he leads a team of ~400 associates in Novartis in the Financial Accounting & Reporting area. He also has rich experience in scaling up business operations and finance teams' cross organization. He is a humble people leader who is extremely passionate about young leadership and mentoring and has groomed & developed many successful careers. As hobby, he loves organic fruit farming.

Sadhna

 

Dr. Sadhna Joglekar

Senior. Vice President and Head Global Drug Development India, Novartis

 

As the Head of Global Drug Development (GDD) Centre in India for Novartis, she leads the vision and strategic priorities for GDD India.

She has successfully built cutting-edge medical affairs and clinical research teams and has a keen interest in people development. She actively engages with healthcare professionals and patient groups, and her publications and conference invitations highlight her thought leadership.

She is a respected figure in the pharmaceutical industry and has served in leadership roles, including as Vice Chair of the Medical Committee of OPPI and member of the Global Antibiotic Resistance Partnership (GARP)-India Working Group.

Sakshi Krishna

Founder - My Earth

 

Sakshi is a 24 year old Climate and environmentalist. She is the founder of “My Earth” a youth-led environmental organization, empowering marginalized and middle income communities to voice their climate concerns.

Her advocacy journey also includes spearheading webinars, campaigns, COP 26 participation as an Asia Regional Correspondent and COP 15 Youth delegate, urging urgent and immediate climate and biodiversity action.

Ankit Tripathi

Founder- Uneako

 

Ankit Tripathi stands as the FOUNDER of Uneako, a remarkable social enterprise that stands as a beacon of sustainability. With a transformative vision, Ankit spearheads the transformation of plastic waste into sustainable products, aligning his efforts with a profound advocacy for environmental consciousness.

His unwavering commitment to this cause has garnered widespread recognition, with organizations of great repute such as One Young world,  Audi Environmental Foundation, HDFC BANK, FACEBOOK, IIT KANPUR, and the Global Changemakers Switzerland commending his impactful work.

Deepak

 

Deepak Bisht

Head HSE & Environment Sustainability, Novartis

 

Deepak has over 18 years of progressive management and consulting expertise in the areas of strategy, analytics and operations. Currently he leads Environmental Sustainability and unified Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Operations for Novartis.

With an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Deepak is focused on creating a collaborative environment where everyone can contribute to driving sustainability and promote a spirit of sustainability mindset in everything we do.

Vijay Maram

Manager, Pricing and Market Access, Novartis

 

Vijay is a One Young World ambassador and a healthcare pricing and market access specialist, currently working with Novartis. He holds a Master of Pharmacy degree from BITS, Pilani and has managed vast range of projects to maximize the access of healthcare interventions to patients across the world. Previously, he worked with NGOs to promote equitable outcome for children in need of care and protection. Vijay is extremely passionate about young leadership, and he believes in using his skills to advance SDGs, with a focus on health equity, climate action, and education for all.

Alina Alam

Founder-CEO @ Mitti Café

 

Alina believes that compassion and courage are two powerful weapons that could eradicate many of the problems our world faces today. She firmly believes in inclusive development, emphasizing that embracing and empowering vulnerable segments of society is essential. One efficient way to achieve this is by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities that uphold human dignity.

With this vision in mind, Alina initiated Mitti Café during her university years. Her goal was to provide platforms for adults with physical, intellectual, and psychiatric disabilities, showcasing their immense potential for productivity. This initiative also seeks to raise awareness about equal employment opportunities and inclusion in the workforce. Mitti Café's outreach program further contributes to promoting awareness about inclusion and disability rights.

Elwinder

 

Elwinder Singh

Co-Founder at Connect and Heal

 

As a first-generation entrepreneur, the desire to fix a fragmented healthcare system led Elwinder Singh to Co-found Connect and Heal (CNH Care) - with the ultimate aspiration to provide accessible, convenient and cost-effective care.

This journey has seen him cross continents, build teams, raise venture funding and deliver integrated healthcare services to millions of patients across India.

Today CNH is poised to become India’s first and largest Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), serving over 7m lives across 500+ organizations. This is done via a unique online-to-offline (O2O) solution which brings all aspects of care within one integrated delivery platform.

Elwinder has been recognized for numerous International accolades including being named as a One Young World Ambassador, Forbes Asia and India Under 30 Honoree, Novartis Global Reimagining Health Scholar and BW Business World 40 Under 40 Healthcare Leader.

Shubhi

 

Shubhi Agarwal

Manager, Field force analytics, Novartis

 

Shubhi is a One Young World ambassador and a healthcare analytics professional, currently specializing in field force strategy and sales analytics at Novartis. She is deeply passionate about promoting access to quality healthcare and fostering conflict resolution while strongly advocating for young leadership. Shubhi is actively engaged in Novartis' flagship initiative, the Zero Leprosy mission, and has conducted many healthcare analytics workshops at OYW summits across years, to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Recently, she has been inducted in the Territorial Army of India as a Lieutenant, which is a strong testimony to her aspiration of leadership and courage to make a difference.

Lokesh Manikonda

Lokesh heads Novartis Social Business (NSB) operations in India. He has a vast experience of more than 20 years in strategy and market innovation in pharma. He is a keen strategist in building public and private sector alliances to deliver social changes and health in an impactful manner.

Currently, he is driven by his passion to serve those at the bottom of the pyramid, with a fulfilling journey of 6+ years through this unique socio-commercial self-sustainable model called “Arogya Parivar”

Kamala

 

Dr. Kamala Rai

Vice President, Senior Global Program Head, Global Heath DU, Novartis

 

Kamala is a pharmaceutical physician, specialized in Clinical Pharmacology from AIIMS, New Delhi and has served Healthcare for more than 30 years. Her current assignments as Global Program Head include shaping global health initiatives for a multi-billion dollar portfolio, leading a highly agile team of experts, focused on securing global regulatory approval, market access and optimized commercial value for the programs.

Kamala also serves on a number of external committees and champions change initiatives. She serves on the prestigious Prime Ministers APEX Council for Doctoral Research. Kamala has led a number of change initiatives, served as Diversity Champion for Novartis and she remains a lifelong student of leadership.
