About the fund 

The Social Enterprise Support Fund (SESF) is a consortium of 5 partners: UnLtd, Big Issue Invest, Resonance, School for Social Entrepreneurs and The Key Fund. The fund supports social enterprises facing increased challenges delivering their work as a result of COVID-19. With £16.3m in grants, the funding will help social enterprises grow, evolve and become more sustainable.

Foundervine aims to ensure that funding goes where it's needed most. We will seek to ensure that outreach is equitable, fair and empowers communities who are Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, and or Disabled, and or from the LGTBQTIA+ community.

What funding amount is available?

Eligible applications can receive grants from £10,000 - £100,000. 

Average grant sizes will be between £10,000 - £50,000.

What can the funding be used for?

Helping you get your social enterprise back on track or working with communities that are recovering.

Who is eligible for this funding?

  • At least one year old. 
  • An incorporated social purpose organisation with an asset lock. 
  • Substantially reliant on income from trading. 
  • Generate annual income between £20,000 and £1.8 million. 
  • Financially resilient. 
  • Based in England.
