Youth in Diplomacy Talks - Ambassador of Denmark to the UN

youth in diplomacy

The Youth In Diplomacy project is a series of talks between former and current UN Youth Delegates, young leaders with a passion in diplomacy and former and present UN Ambassadors with a public audience. The purpose of the talks is fostering the role of the UN in promoting meaningful inclusion of youth in decision- making processes in-line with the United Nations Youth Strategy that underpins the role of young people as partners in achieving global sustainable development, peace and security, and international human rights. Also, the project aims to create a space for former and current UN Youth Delegates to continue the dialogue between youth (former and current UNYD-s) and the decision-makers and as well as to provide UN Ambassadors a space to share their personal story and showcase the work of the respective country's UN Mission.

The 8th series of Youth in Diplomacy Talks will host the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Denmark to the United Nations Ambassador Martin Bille Hermann, and will feature Natascha Skjaldgaard, the Global Youth Advisor at the Danish MFA.

The conversation will be moderated by Ramiz Bakhtiar, Founder of the Network of Former Youth Delegates to the United Nations, and One Young World Ambassador.
