One Young World launch event draws local business leaders

Local business leaders gathered at Government House Thursday to learn about a special international summit on the topic of sustainable finance that will bring hundreds of the world’s brightest young people to the Cayman Islands in November.

The One Young World Sustainable Finance Expert Event will take place at the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman from Nov. 16 to 18, 2016.

UNICEF will hold a conference on ‘Promoting Equality for Children’ on 14 April in Paris, France to launch its 2016 report on child well-being in OECD and EU countries. Global figures announced as Counsellors for Environment Summit

 

A list of global figures will lend their stature and counsel to bright young leaders at the One Young World Environment Summit which takes place May 19-21 in Tucson at the University of Arizona’s Biosphere 2. Counsellors at One Young World’s event will work with young leaders from around the world addressing challenges across the environmental field including changing weather patterns, food security and indigenous rights.
