An open letter to congress

As we speed closer to the expiration of the Millennium Development Goals our focus must shift to what comes next in the Post-2015 agenda. It is in each of our national interests to set our own Post-2015 Strategy with regards to domestic policies and indicators such as poverty, unemployment, access to quality healthcare and educations.

A ray of sunshine for IT education

The mere fact that you are reading this shows you already have more computer knowledge than the average South African public school student. 

More than 90% of schools in South Africa do not have a computer centre and 3,544 of the 24,793 schools do not have access to electricity. Whilst we have come a long way in our 20 years of democracy, inequality is still prevalent. In order to empower oneself, a good quality education is key.

Discrimination and prejudice are unfortunately still issues across the world in all cultures. There are many fantastic individuals and organisations making great progress to change views and opinions but disability discrimination in particular is still a big problem.
