The Ambassador making waves in Augmented Reality

Ambassador Daniella Segal has been included in Forbes Israel’s 2017 30 Under 30 cohort for her work at Meta, a company pioneering work in the Augmented Reality (AR) space. The Meta device is the first of its kind: a see-through headset that allows users to move and manipulate 3D content using natural physical motions and interactions, creating an innovative way to engage with digital content in real-time.

A Guide to Peacebuilding

Noam Shuster-Eliassi, 29, grew up in Neve Shalom - Wahat al-Salam (Oasis of Peace), an Arab-Israeli village dedicated to promoting peace and co-existence. A fluent Arabic speaker, she is the daughter of an Iranian mother and a Holocaust survivor from Romania. She has dedicated herself to peacebuilding and has worked since 2012 with the international organisation Interpeace, where she is coordinator of the Base for Discussion program. She was a delegate speaker on peace, security and conflict resolution at One Young World’s Summits in Dublin (2014) and Bangkok (2015).

Carlos Eduardo Vargas Palencia is a senior law student at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) in Caracas, Venezuela. He is founder and currently Chief Executive Officer of the social start-up 1001 Ideas For My Country. He was a Delegate Speaker in the Leadership & Governance Plenary Session at the One Young World Summit of 2015 in Bangkok. He has also participated in the World Debate Championship in Spanish. 

This Ambassador could be heading to the Moon

Ambassador José María Ortega-Hernández is determined to make it to the Moon. This past month, José María and his Green Moon Project teammates made it to the final round of TeamIndus’ Lab2Moon competition, which challenged students to devise a project that will ‘accelerate human evolution into a sustainable multi-planetary species.’ The winning projects will head to the moon with the TeamIndus Spacecraft scheduled for launch later this year.
