United for 2030: represent your nation

We Make Change have launched a new community to give young people the opportunity to make an impact on the Global Goals.

About the opportunity

Young people aged between 18-35 can apply to be one of five young people representing their nation.

Successful applicants take part in a 12 month online programme where they collaborate to develop a project that helps achieve the Global Goals.

Every nation will pitch their project at the United For 2030 Summit to people from all over the world, sharing their learnings to promote collective solutions to the Global Goals.

Who can apply?

United For 2030 Citizens Assembly is looking for 100 young leaders from the following 20 countries.

  • Africa - Algeria, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania
  • Americas - Brazil, Haiti, Uruguay USA
  • Asia - Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam
  • Europe - Italy, Romania, Russia, United Kingdom
  • Middle East - Jordan, Yemen

When?

Applications are now open to represent your country at the United For 2030 Citizens Assembly until 11:59pm GMT on Monday 17th December.

Representatives for each country will be chosen by the end of December 2018.

The 12 month session of the Citizens Assembly will begin in January 2019 with a 48 hour online United For 2030 Hackathon.
