Varnit Rathore - India

Varnit leads Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Deloitte South Asia, where he works to make workplaces and communities more inclusive for people with disabilities. He leads the employee resource group, Uniquely United, raising awareness and building supportive networks, while also leading Project Prernaya, which supports women with disabilities through mentorship, training, and entrepreneurship. He is also leading an initiative to make public parks in Bengaluru more inclusive for people with disabilities.
To date, his projects have sensitised more than 20,000 employees on disability inclusion, trained 1,500 support staff on inclusive practices, supported women with disabilities through Project Prernaya, and are working towards reaching 300 women in the first year and 1,000 by 2027, while also piloting an accessible public park model that can be replicated across parks and cities.
Emmy Boonsakulcharoen - Thailand

Emmy is the founder of Prakaya, a social impact-led business making mindfulness and wellbeing more accessible across cultures and communities. Guided by the belief that mental wellbeing should never be a privilege, Prakaya delivers meditation, workshops, retreats, and leadership programmes that transform contemplative practices into practical tools for building emotional resilience and psychological wellbeing. The organisation adapts its approach to different cultures and lived experiences, making mental wellbeing accessible to diverse communities.
To date, Prakaya has worked across more than 10 countries, including with Burmese communities affected by political instability, creating culturally sensitive mindfulness spaces that build resilience and connection. The organisation has supported more than 3,000 people representing over 70 nationalities and delivered programmes across more than 10 sectors, including healthcare, education.
Anjani Sharma - United States

Anjani is the founder of Minds Without Borders, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to making mental health education, advocacy, and support more accessible and culturally responsive for young people globally. Recognising that stigma and limited access prevent many young people from seeking support, the organisation brings together students, educators, nonprofits, and healthcare professionals to develop community-driven solutions. Through workshops, storytelling initiatives, and advocacy campaigns, Minds Without Borders empowers young people to become changemakers while expanding access to mental health education and support regardless of background.
To date, Minds Without Borders has grown to a network of more than 2,500 youth members and volunteers across more than 50 countries, 18 U.S. states, and 10 chapters. Its advocacy and educational campaigns have reached hundreds of thousands of people online, generating more than 25,000 social media engagements while expanding access to mental health resources and youth leadership opportunities.
Marija Loncar - Serbia

Marija works in the Immunology Department at AstraZeneca Serbia, supporting the evolving landscape of healthcare for people living with immune-mediated diseases, with a particular focus on Lupus. As Lupus predominantly affects women, representing around 90% of patients, and currently has no cure, her work focuses on improving access to treatment and supporting better outcomes for people living with the condition. Beyond her role in healthcare, she contributes to AstraZeneca's sustainability agenda as a member of the company's sustainability working group in Serbia, supporting initiatives that advance climate action, health equity, and resilient health systems through afforestation, bee preservation, charitable outreach, and community clean-up efforts.
Last year in only one day, the afforestation initiative has planted 4,500 trees across three locations in Serbia with NGO partners. Under the health equity pillar, more than 10,000 children have participated in educational and sports activities over the past three years, while annual charitable initiatives continue to support children without parental care.
Brianna Blomqvist - Sweden

Brianna is Associate Director, Patient Safety at AstraZeneca and a member of the One Young World Delegate Leadership Council. She works to ensure patient safety is supported by strong compliance, clear governance, and effective collaboration across teams, helping to build the culture and systems that protect patients. Beyond her role, she supports the development of sustainability frameworks for projects and helps strengthen connections across the One Young World network in Northern Europe.
Her work supports patient safety initiatives across the Nordic countries, while in 2026 she helped organise the Northern Europe One Young World network event, bringing together delegates to build connections and drive future sustainability collaborations across the region.
Mathias Charles - Lebanon

Mathias is the founder of Live Love, a non-governmental organisation and social impact enterprise created in response to the country’s social and economic challenges. The organisation’s mission is to build resilient communities that generate positive environmental, social, and cultural impact. To achieve this mission, Live Love follows three main pillars: storytelling, which inspires people, particularly younger generations, by sharing meaningful stories that encourage action; story-doing, which focuses on implementing sustainable humanitarian, environmental, and technological projects that address local needs; and story-living, which strengthens partnerships and collaboration among communities, organisations, and institutions to maximise long-term impact. What started as a simple bracelet initiative in Beirut has grown into an international movement, now active in more than 20 countries, dedicated to inspiring hope and promoting positive change through community engagement.
To date, Live Love has mobilised more than 140,000 volunteers, rebuilt 431 homes, distributed 62,000 meals to vulnerable communities, and created 449 jobs. The organisation also operates through 320 chapters across 25 countries, has recycled 800 tonnes of waste, and reaches a global audience of more than 3 million followers..
Jaskirat Singh - United Kingdom

Jaskirat Singh is the founder of In Conversation with Jas, a platform built on the belief that meaningful change begins with courageous conversations and translates into tangible impact. Inspired by his experience at the One Young World Summit in Manchester in 2022, he expanded his focus towards environmental stewardship while continuing his social impact work. Through interviews, storytelling, and workshops, In Conversation with Jas explores sustainability, equity, and responsible leadership, connecting personal experiences with collective action.
Over the past 10 years, Jas has led community outreach, mentoring, and education initiatives that embed sustainability and inclusion into organisational culture. He has mentored and supported 1,000+ students from underrepresented backgrounds through career guidance and leadership development, and trained 100+ employees through certified Carbon Literacy training. His work has been recognised through the Edie 100 list of the UK’s most impactful sustainability leaders and as an Autocar Driver of Change.
Martin Ignacio Díaz Velásquez - Germany

Martin Díaz is the CEO of Knowmad Institut gUG in Germany. His path was shaped by forced displacement, faith, lived experience, and a commitment to human dignity as a Protestant bishop, Salvadoran theologian, and social researcher. Through Knowmad Institut, he has built a non-commercial open science ecosystem that connects a Diamond Open Access journal with a research gateway mapping academic knowledge across sustainable development, governance, human rights, and publication-cost barriers, making research easier to find, trust, preserve, and reuse while increasing the visibility of knowledge from underrepresented communities.
To date, Knowmad has classified 35,199 research works aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and analysed 106,101 works through ESG-related indicators. Its APC Dashboard maps 149,955 publications and estimates associated publication costs of approximately US$363.9 million, while the organisation is recognised as a Trusted and Active source in the European Diamond Discovery Hub, holds observer status with WIPO, and has special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Knowmad Institut operates a multilingual Diamond Open Access journal with no APCs or submission fees that is indexed by major scholarly systems, including Scopus, DOAJ, BASE, and ROAD/UNESCO.
Helena Matos - Brazil

Women Shaping Institutions reflects Helena’s long-term professional and social impact agenda, focused on gender equity, institutional effectiveness and the practical implementation of rights. Today, this agenda is expressed across three complementary areas: her professional work at the intersection of law, technology and innovation as Enterprise Solutions Manager at Jusbrasil Soluções; her writing on governance, law and innovation as a columnist for MIT Technology Review Brasil; and her pro bono mentoring of women facing socioeconomic barriers. Across these activities, she is committed to expanding women’s participation in fields where leadership and decision-making remain unevenly distributed. Earlier in her career, she coordinated the measures that enabled the safe resumption of in-person education across Niterói’s public school system during the COVID-19 pandemic, integrating public health, education, data, operations and social protection.
To date, she has provided free one-to-one mentoring to more than 25 women facing socioeconomic barriers. Between 2020 and 2022, the measures she coordinated enabled approximately 20,000 children and adolescents to safely return to in-person education across Niterói’s public school system. From 2023 to 2025, she also contributed to more than 20 pro bono legal projects, alongside corporate initiatives focused on the implementation of fundamental and human rights.
Ronelli Requena - Belize

Ronelli is the co-founder of International Women in Business (NIME), a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs through leadership, collaboration, and business development. The organisation provides mentorship, training, networking opportunities, access to financing, and advocacy for gender equality to help women build resilient and sustainable businesses. NIME creates a supportive community where women connect, share knowledge, and build strategic partnerships that drive economic and social progress.
To date, NIME has engaged 280+ women entrepreneurs and strategic partners, creating a strong national network of business leaders. The organisation has delivered 50+ business events and training sessions, providing practical skills in leadership, finance, and business development, while facilitating 100+ business growth opportunities through networking, mentorship, and partnerships. Through its Catalyze Her initiative, NIME aims to support 250 women.
Carolina Machado - Uruguay

Carolina is active in driving leadership, collaboration, and sustainable business development across her initiatives. Through dedicated mentorship, training, and strategic partnerships, her work empowers community leaders and promotes economic resilience and social progress.
Her efforts focus on expanding access to critical networking platforms and educational resources, equipping participants with long-term leadership tools and creating opportunities for inclusive growth.
