Carole was for many years producer of BBC Radio 4’s current affairs discussion programme Any Questions?
Since leaving the BBC Carole became the Managing Director of YouGovStone Ltd a joint commercial venture with the international internet-based market research and data analytics firm YouGov plc. Carole currently works with the YouGov-Cambridge Centre – an academic partnership between YouGov and the Cambridge Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) which provides a hub for pollsters, academics and practitioners to collaborate on polling research.
In November 2011, Carole was voted by the Institute of Directors Director magazine and O2 as Britain’s Best Connected Woman.
In June 2014, Carole was made a Senior Fellow of the not-for-profit Regent’s University London.
In 2015 in the Queen’s Birthday Honours, Carole was awarded the CBE for her contribution to market research and charities.
In 2018 she established The Carole Stone Foundation – connecting people, exchanging ideas and building friendships around the world to help make a fairer society.
