Chris Millington is President of the Firmenich Flavor Division. Reporting to the CEO, Chris is responsible for creating, driving and delivering against the company’s strategic goals for the Division.
Chris joined Firmenich in January 2012 as Flavor Division VP for North America and in 2014, assumed responsibility for Latin America as well. In this role, he was responsible for driving growth in the Americas across the division’s three segments: Beverages, Sweet Goods, and Savoury. He assumed the role of Flavor Division President in January 2015, at that time also becoming a member of the Company’s Direction Générale.
Before joining Firmenich, Chris worked at Nestlé as VP, Regional Head of Beverages for the AOA region (Africa, Oceania and Asia) for the Nestlé Professional Division, based in Singapore. In this position, he led local, national, regional and global teams, including those responsible for major transformational projects. Prior to this, Chris was Global Head of Beverages for the Food Service Strategic Business Unit, based in Switzerland. In this role he was instrumental in creating a unique hybrid facility within Nestlé for accelerating global strategic innovation projects, which combined both commercial and technical functions.
Chris has experience within all commercial disciplines including sales, training, recruitment and selection, brand and category management, innovation and renovation, strategic leadership and total P&L commercial management. He has extensive business exposure across North and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australasia. Before Nestlé, Chris worked in various roles at Kraft Foods, in sales, training, marketing and category management; and in procurement as Purchasing Manager for Bunzl Disposables.
