Danor is a public health practitioner with over 10 years’ experience in development and management of health programmes in Kenya. He currently heads the Young Health Programme in Kenya where he also coordinates an alliance of organizations advocating for better healthcare policies and services for young people in Kenya. Danor is a member of the Association of Public Health Officers Kenya-APHOK and a Senior Associate at African Institute for Children Studies (AICS) advising on training, health and M&E consulting. He is passionate about community, children and young people’s health and development, and identifies with organizations whose ethos is to empower marginalized communities to overcome preventable health risks and poverty.
