Derek White is the Chief Design and Digital Officer for Barclays. He is the creator of Rise, Barclays’ accelerator programme for financial technology start-ups, which operates in London and New York City, and he launched Pingit, Barclays’ mobile payments app. Before joining Barclays he worked at two internet banks, Wingspan and Juniper. At college he co-founded Roomies, a sports and entertainment business. He started his first company when he was nine years of age.
