Ella Robertson McKay is the Managing Director of One Young World, where she oversees the organisation's operations, programmes, and international events, connecting and supporting young leaders from over 190+ countries.
Ella is the co-author of How To Make A Difference: The Definitive Guide To Activism (Hachette 2019) and frequently writes for publications such as Fortune and The Times; she is also a regular podcast guest. A previous member of the Scottish National Debating Team, Ella is a sought after public speaker and moderator, with her first TEDx talk in 2024 addressing the current disconnect between activism and impact.
Ella sits on the Advisory Boards of UNLOC, a youth entrepreneurship non-profit, and Daughters4Earth, a charity supporting women taking climate action. She also is a member of the Magnitsky Human Rights Awards. She is a Governor of a local primary school in London.
