The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is collaborating with One Young World to create the Re.Generation Future Leaders scholarship programme to promote emerging leaders in environmental protection.
Imogen Napper is a Re.Generation Future Leaders Scholar, Marine Scientist and National Geographic Explorer. She has been described as a 'Plastic Detective. Her work influenced legislation banning microbeads in facial scrubs, as well as investigating the impact of washing our clothes, and even finding microplastics near the summit mount Everest. Since attending the One Young World Summit, Imogen has been invited to the University of Lincoln to deliver an alumni address, and was invited to talk on one of the Plenary Sessions at the 2024 UN Ocean Decade Conference in Barcelona. She also joind The Explorers Club 50, which recognizes 50 extraordinary people doing remarkable work to promote science and exploration.
