Abdoul Ouahabo Kevin Dipama

Co-Founder of African Packaging and Print/ Natuco

I am the son of a village king in Burkina Faso. Since childhood, I have learned the traditions. My father showed me that plants, agriculture and water are the best means for development and to solve the problem of unemployment.

I am studying water and environmental engineering in a pan-African international school (2iE). I finished my studies with a specialisation in the Netherlands in project management. I then created two companies in my country to help women and young entrepreneurs.

My ambition is to support young people and women to develop businesses that value our local products and culture. I work with women in the villages to create jobs for these minority and vulnerable people. I quickly realised that one of the main problems of entrepreneurship in Burkina Faso was the packaging of products. The young entrepreneurs were using bad packaging, which did not protect the product well. The conservation and presentation of the product is poor. So I created a company to help young entrepreneurs who have very good products improve their packaging, their marketing and be competitive in the market.

The company African Packaging prints and manufactures professional packaging, adapted, customised and certified by the national laboratory of Burkina Faso for young entrepreneurs. Moreover, we accompany them in their marketing strategy to be very competitive in the market.

First of all, I am a member of the young expert program created by the MFA of the Netherlands and it gathers young experts in sustainable and human development. Then I am a member of the Young African Leader Initiative which is an exchange framework for young entrepreneurs in West Africa. It was created by USAID.

Finally, I am a member of the National Parliament of Burkinabe Youth for Water set up by the ministry in charge of water. This national group allows me to be in contact with the young people and decision-makers of Burkina Faso. I am in several networks of exchange with young humanitarians, young entrepreneurs and young influencers. This meeting is a great opportunity for me to achieve two goals. The first goal is the sharing of experience.
