My name is Aminata Ly. I am 31 years old and a Young Woman who lives and works in a rural area of Senegal. I started to work in the agriculture Field in 2015. I am one of the few women in the agriculture and livestock sector. I bring innovation to this agriculture while insisting on preserving the land through the welfare of animals and the limitation of the use of chemical fertilisers.
I fight for harmony between men's habitat, animals and plants on well-respected soil. I manage a team of 15 employees.
I participate in the training for the education of young people and women.
I am a new producer in my sector with a new vision of preserving the land.
I care about the most vulnerable strains.
I worry about the development of my land and I strongly want to change the mentality and to bring more dynamics to find a job for everyone.

I gave an example and hope to the young girls of my generation.
I also set an example by staying on the job with my employees.
I do not hesitate to continue training to be able to acquire more knowledge in the sector that I evolve in, giving others the knowledge is never sufficient. What a man can do a woman can do best while believing in herself.
