Brayden Sonny White is a community leader, consultant, and cultural advocate from Akwesasne with over a decade of experience in youth engagement, environmental advocacy, and Indigenous representation. He works to embed Indigenous perspectives in legislation, policy, and decision-making, and formerly served as Deputy Director and Youth Coordinator for the Haudenosaunee Environmental Task Force. Brayden has held roles with the Akwesasne Cultural Center, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, and Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. A UNITY 25 Under 25 and CNAY Champion for Change awardee, he also serves as Captain for the Bombay Volunteer Fire Department and on the Franklin County Tech Rescue Team.
