Hayden Taylor is an award winning UK social entrepreneur and education reform advocate who co-founded youth empowerment social enterprise Unloc at just 16. Built from his belief that young people should lead change - not simply prepare for it - Unloc works directly within schools and colleges to embed changemaking, leadership and student voice at the heart of education.
Today, Unloc supports over 20,000 young people annually across 500+ UK schools, colleges and communities. Its programmes equip students with the skills, confidence and platforms to design and lead their own changemaking initiatives, with more than £100,000 distributed in Changemaker Grants (small seed funding awards) to fund youth-led projects tackling issues in their communities.
Under Hayden’s leadership, Unloc has grown into a nationally recognised movement bridging education and industry, partnering with leading businesses while maintaining a 96% participant recommendation rate and consistent year-on-year growth.
Alongside leading Unloc, Hayden serves as a Non-Executive Director at The Portman Group and Shaping Portsmouth. He is a One Young World Ambassador, Jo Cox Memorial Scholar, TEDx speaker and Chartered Manager passionate about reshaping how education values youth potential.
