Lance Copegog

Lance Copegog is a proud Anishinaabe from Chimnissing (Beausoleil First Nation), Ontario, and a leading Indigenous youth advocate for mental health, governance, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He has advised governments, foundations, and international organisations—including Ontario, the Laidlaw Foundation, and the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust—on youth engagement and policy. A former Anishinabek Nation Youth Representative and Youth Sector Manager with the Chiefs of Ontario, he supported over 130 First Nations communities. Currently, Ontario Chapter Coordinator for AFOA Ontario, Lance is pursuing a BA in Public Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University and champions Indigenous youth leadership globally.
