Lucky Kassim is the Founder and Chairperson of the Somaliland Women’s Resource Centre (SWRC), a pioneering initiative that empowers young women with the skills, confidence, and networks needed to access meaningful employment. Under her leadership, SWRC has trained over 1,700 women and girls, with 75% of participants in its flagship mentorship and internship program securing jobs or internships. She also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the National Internship Coalition of Somaliland, where she played a key role in implementing the National Internship Policy, benefiting over 1,000 youth. In 2024, she was recognized by the Ministry of Labour as a Young Women Catalyst for Positive Transformation. Lucky is committed to scaling her impact through global collaboration focused on gender equity, youth employment, and social inclusion.
