Magalie Laguerre-Wilkinson is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist and the CEO and Founder of MagCap Media LLC. Most recently, she served as Vice President of News Programming and Executive Producer of Nick News at Paramount/Nickelodeon, where she led the revival of the network’s iconic news franchise until November 2024.

Prior to Nickelodeon, Magalie spent 16 years at 60 Minutes, America’s most-watched news program, where she produced acclaimed stories for the late Ed Bradley and Bob Simon, as well as Lesley Stahl, Anderson Cooper, and Oprah Winfrey. She was the lead producer on the Peabody and Emmy-winning profile of the Kimbanguist Symphony Orchestra in the Democratic Republic of Congo—one of the broadcast’s most memorable and inspiring stories.

A seasoned field producer and reporter, Magalie has covered major stories across the globe and throughout the U.S. Her Haitian heritage has made her an essential voice in CBS News’s coverage of the region, including an Emmy-nominated 60 Minutes report on the 2010 earthquake n Haiti. She was also awarded an Emmy for a CBS News special on COVID-19, recognizing her journalistic leadership during one of the most pivotal global events of the past decade.

Magalie has also served as a correspondent for 60 Minutes Overtime and CBS News, a reporter for CUNY-TV’s Arts in the City, and co-host of the Carnegie Council’s Ethics Matter digital series. In addition to her work in journalism, Magalie is a sought-after moderator and master of ceremonies. She has hosted and moderated high-profile events for organizations such as the French Institute/Alliance Française, Voices of Faith at the Vatican, the Haitian Ladies Network, and American Friends of Rabin Medical Center.

Earlier in her career, she was a producer and associate producer at NBC News, working directly with anchor Tom Brokaw.

Magalie lives in New York City with her husband, Bruce, and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Juliette and Joséphine.
