Marika Dewar‑Norosky is the Executive Director of Manitoba Organics.
Manitoba Organics works to grow a resilient, economically and ecologically sustainable organic sector that benefits farmers, consumers, and the environment. First, they support knowledge transfer and capacity building through farmer-led research, training programs, and practical tools that reduce barriers to adoption. Second, they strengthen market development and value chains by connecting producers with buyers, supporting certification, and building trust in organic products. Third, they engage in advocacy and systems-level work to ensure that policies, risk management programs, and funding structures reflect the realities of organic production. The organization works to strengthen the ecosystem around organic agriculture so farmers can thrive economically while advancing soil health, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
