Ranah Chavoshi is the Co-Founder and CEO, PhyCo Technologies Inc.
PhyCo Technologies Inc. develops home-compostable biomaterials derived from invasive or farmed cultivated seaweed to replace petroleum-based agricultural plastics. Their flagship product is an earth-digestible and non-toxic bioplastic that can be manufactured into mulch films and crop support materials designed to biodegrade safely in soil without leaving microplastic residue.
Ranah is a marine biologist with ~9 years of experience in aquatic toxicology, phycology, community‑led ecological restoration, and teaching. As Co-Founder and CEO of PhyCo, she leads the company’s strategic vision, partnerships, and technology development. She oversees seaweed biorefinery research and the commercialization of earth-digestible biomaterials designed to replace conventional agricultural plastics.
