Aime Rebecca is an entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in business startup and management. After leaving DR Congo as a refugee in 2010, Rebecca dropped out of school at just 13 and got involved in entrepreneurship as a means to support her family.
In 2016, she joined Social Innovation Academy (SINA) which empowers marginalized youth to become social entrepreneurs, where she underwent training in leadership, social entrepreneurship, business startup and mentoring.
With this foundation, she founded Patapia, which seeks to empower refugee women to start and run their own businesses for sustained livelihoods.
