Rossita is a PhD student in electrical engineering at Queen’s University Belfast, where her work explores how data can build a fairer, cleaner, more resilient energy future. Driven by a belief that engineering must serve people, not just systems, she founded a local network for Women in STEM that has grown to 500 members, organised the first Women in STEM conference in Northern Ireland and earned recognition at two national awards. With experience spanning industrial internships, academic research and community building, Rossita is committed to creating impact through inclusive, socially informed engineering.
