Venancio Coñuepan Mesias

Venancio Coñuepan Mesías is a Mapuche lawyer, Indigenous leader, and social entrepreneur from La Araucanía, Chile, and part of the historic Coñuepan family known for defending Indigenous rights since the 19th century. He is Executive Director of the Indigenous Enterprises Foundation, Founder of Impacto Indígena, and co-founder of initiatives promoting economic autonomy, social innovation, and Indigenous participation in sustainability and human rights. With an LL.M. in Regulatory Law and studies in Indigenous rights, Venancio has represented Indigenous peoples at UN forums, COP25, and global platforms. He champions youth leadership, Indigenous entrepreneurship, and socio-environmental regeneration through intercultural collaboration.
