Zahra Al Hilaly is a human rights defender and proud Indigenous Palestinian dedicated to advancing gender equality in culturally diverse communities. With experience in climate justice, interfaith dialogue, and gender equity, she champions community-led, culturally-grounded approaches to safety and wellbeing. Her global work spans researching women’s political participation in the U.S., facilitating sexual health workshops in Indonesia, and leading social impact projects with refugees on Christmas Island. As Program Advisor for Women Deliver 2026, she curates inclusive programming amplifying youth, Indigenous, and marginalised voices. Zahra also practices tatreez, traditional Palestinian embroidery, to honour her heritage and community resilience.
