As a government dedicated to peacebuilding, reconciliation, and youth leadership, its support ensured the Summit highlighted Northern Ireland’s journey from conflict to progress. By investing in young leaders, the Executive Office reinforced its commitment to building a more inclusive and prosperous future, both locally and globally.

Through its partnership with One Young World, the Executive Office helped shape key discussions on peace, governance, and leadership, positioning Belfast as a global hub for post-conflict transformation. Its support enabled young changemakers to engage with Northern Ireland’s legacy while exploring new solutions for a more peaceful and sustainable world.

The First Minister and Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland reaffirmed their commitment to peace and youth leadership by hosting a Legacy Event in 2024, bringing together global changemakers to reflect on the Summit and continued impact.
